Watch out for Mountain Councillor Terry Whitehead everyone!

(Sounds homosexual to me...)

Some people are actually ridiculous, its obviously not shaking you're chest, and its obviously not going to break other peoples windows.

I think we are in complete agreement Creosote (sp?). I am another person that has consideration, to an extent.

If I am stopped at an intersection, it gets turned down, but if I'm driving on a somewhat main drag, residential or not, I will usually have the music up. People take that into consideration when buying there home. its the location.

Now, if its your neighbors on the otherhand testing for hours on end in their driveway... start whackin bassballs (hahaha) at their car...

Just use your brain...in over 23 years of car audio...I've yet to be told to turn it down, and I have always had at least a kilowatt in the car!

And by the way, the sound of a baby crying is awful, excepting the one case when it's your own child. That's somehow different.

EDITED TO ADD: I actually agree with you. Unless it's at night, why can't you play loud music out your car? Lord knows there's enough other loud things to compete. But I will say that it's a matter of consideration for others as well.

Finally, the reason for thinking about adding by-laws (whether it's sensible or not) is that there's always someone who will be an inconsiderate ***. You can't reason with them, and they basically ruin it for the rest of us.

Creosote.
Wanna know whats worse than a loud car going down the street?

People who bring there babies to public events such as weddings, funerals, and dinners and refuse to leave when there baby starts going nuts. People who do that are the biggest ******** ever, usually dumb broads that don't think its actually annoying people, even though everyone in the room is thinking they just want to strangle that bitch.

I'm not turning my music down, you can slow down or pick an alternate route.

I agree with the non-insane ranting part. Children can be one of the most annoying things ever. Just not mine.

Please tell me where you live and what time you sleep so that I can come by and wake you up on a consistent basis. Perhaps then you will understand the other side of the fence. Your right to make noise is no greater than the other peoples right to silence. If you enforce your right to enjoy your music how you see fit, be prepared for their right to legally enjoy their peace. If you want to spoil it for all, continue on your path of not caring for those around you.
