soooo I was reading something somewhere, and this product came up, then I thought about the similar thread here. Its some 1/0 cable made by Monster Cable. The reason I'm asking is because they have something called a Magnetic Flux Tube. Now I have no Idea what the hell it does, it just looks like a gimmick to me. Just wanted to know if anyone else knows what it does or if they have it.

I mean is this monster cable stuff even worth to buy? Everything they seem to produce looks fancy, but I am guessing it looks the same underneath.

In my personal opinion it is a total gimmick, as are many of thier claims. One day when I have nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, else to do I'd love to read their white paper on what that is supposed to do. Should be good for a laugh.

its literally a piece of plastic.

Haha my uncle and I just had a chat about Monster cable. He used it for all of his high-end audio and video for his home entertainment.

He said "Why did I buy this stuff, any normal proper cable will do exactly the same thing. The bastard that had this Monster cable idea should be shot"

...but it's got a cool name...

monster?
fine ill come out with VAMPIRE CABLES OR GOBLING Cables! :D

they all do the same , the only difference you will find is if you go over the 100ft length then cables show their tru quality

lol. total gimmick!
they started that as a feature in their high end (not top end) rca cables a few years ago. its purpose was to stop stray radio interference from being introduced into the cable. dont have a clue how this is suppose to take place since the flux tube is nothing more than a thin plastic tube... bs in my opinion!
as for using it in a power cable! it would serve to do nothing at all but jack the price of the cable!
dont get me wrong Monster cable has some good cables and they put alot of money into testing them to be sure they meet thier specified rating.
you know those Americans brothers of ours luv to sue.
