HDD base solutions for car audio
I am looking for ideas for a HDD solution to store MP3s for car audio.
I have a Kenwood KVT-817DVD and I had a Kenwood Music Keg hooked up to it. The only problem is that the HDD is dying on me and I don't want to go back to CDs. I have an iPod and thinking about using that but I would like to know the best way to connect an iPod to my headunit, I would like to control the iPod with the headunit. Any suggestions? Thank you |
alpine deck with an ipod interface? get the 30 gig ipod and you set for life.

You can buy the cartridge alone. Do you not have the keg system?
ebay too! |
I can really see anywhere on phatnoise's web site to order, From what I can see the DMS will cost $299 and there is no way in hell I am spending $299 on a HDD.
I looked on ebay and the only ones I could find only ships to the US. |
If you're looking for a deal on a used cartridge then I would suggest going the ipod route then - still going to cost you. The Kenwood Keg has better sound the the ipod - IMHO
Also you can contact the seller on ebay and tell them your situation and he/she want may ship it to you. Try that! Contact them and get the info you need! E-mail Customer Service |
