HELP: Amp Won't Turn On?

Amp is working fine. I verified this by using a computer PSU to turn it on and power some subs.

In the car, not so much. But all my wires tight and fuses look beautiful.
-power cable to amp (good)
-power inline fuse (good)
-ground to amp (good)
-remote + RCA (good)

NO DICE.

It was working fine one day... then a few days later, doesn't work anymore.

I'm all out of ideas... Even tried another amp to verify everything.

Any suggestions?

This is conflicting information. If + and - connections and wires for power are correct and tight to bare metal surfaces, your fuse is not blown, you have a remote turn on signal, and signal being sent via the low level input (with the amp set to receive it if it has that setting) you will have noise. If the amp was blown, it would not have operated on a load, especially with a computer power source... Either there is a smoked component in the amp or your power/signal/remote wiring is ***ked, or you forgot to set up the deck properly. Step #1, check wiring. Step #2, verify signal transmission and reception

I know man!

I'm all out of ideas...

I'm going to try another remote wire. But I can't see how that can fk up. I'll get a multimeter on the equipment tonight if I have time. The remote wire should see like 10V, right?

I doubt it's the amp. And I also pulled the HU out to check for loose wires in the back- it's all clean.

I'll try to post a video for reconfirmation.

easiest way to test if the amp turn on lead is not working is to jumper the remote terminal from the + terminal of the amp...amp should light up right away as it's getting it's remote 12volt turn on signal. If it does, you know where you problem lies.

I dont trust fuses that "look" beautiful. I have seen them dead as poop several times, with them looking fine.

every car audio fan should have a $20DVM. Measure the voltage across amp + and chassis, then amp+ and ampgrd, then amp remote and amp grnd. Allshould be 12 volts.

Nah man... no two blue wires. Remember, my system was bumpin' ever since I put it in. So it was WORKING! Also, the amp turns on and plays with a computer PSU. So...

I'll check with my multimeter tomorrow before work. Just got home from work/gym and it's dark.
