Help choosing NEW amps old vs new

Hi everyone. I have a great opportunity which will give me the chance to buy a number of top grade products at dealer cost. Basically a friend of mine who I used to design systems for when I was a manger of an car audio store many years ago is in the industry. He works for one of the big industry distributors and said if there is anything I need I can buy it through him at wholesale or even industry price.

So instead of using my old Orion XTR and Zed amps I have been saving , I am considering buying brand new amps and subs..

Problem is I don’t know what I should go with. I know everyone talks a lot about Audison , Hertz and other american brands.

I don’t need low impedance amps or super power hunger amps. I run a stock alternator on a Toyota which is 100amp with big three. So I need amps with good efficiencies and are not going to draw 200amps current.

I currently have front speakers I will be using already and will not switch

Morel M22 soft dome tweets
Morel 5.25 with 3” VC were the magnets inside the VC and hexcoil
MOREL PASSIVES

and

Focal Utopia TN51 TWEET
Focal Utopia 6W 6.5” MID
Focal Utopia 7W2 7” MIDBASS
Focal Utopia Passives

I plan on running full active and would like to have DSP to smooth out the ripples.

I currently have a mix of old school amps like ORION XTR, PPI Power class, Phoenix titanium series. I can still use these amps but I want to buy some new amps that will use my 12V supply without having the alternator glowing orange.

power wise I want to attain the max wattage with out an alternator swap out but will consider dual battery set up of course which has its own alternator torture..

I really would appreciate your feed back as a community

I'v been doing this for a LOONGG time and alot of the new mainstream amps
are a dissapointment..for example the new Digital Hertz
I did an install recently for a buddy and they just don't have the UMPH
that I would expect for the amount of money he spent

Incriminator amps are really decent and I'v also had good results with Sundown.....

personally I won't use anything other than the old Crown amps on my subs
..those things are POWER PIGS but the woofer cone control is just awsome
so far the Crown A3000gti is the best sub woofer amp I have ever had the
pleasure to use. their High Current Servo design is the $hit if you like it tight
..not very friendly to the alternator by any means.....LOL

I am now using the BPX 2200.1 on a pair of SSA Icon 12" and I couldn't be happier

that's just me though....I am very picky with my sound
everything has to be bang on and rip down to 10hz with out unloading the
cone out of the basket
