Help choosing a new deck

I'm stuck between the Kenwood KDC-891 or the Clarion DXZ775USB. I've heard very good things about clarion..I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the two and which one is a better quality deck.

Thanks.

The new Clarion line is IMO one of the better bangs for the buck this year. That unit has TA and 24bit DA and sounds great. I have played with all in the line up and enjoy my 575 everyday. I have personally seen to many dead Kenwoods for me to warrant buying one or selling one. (Kenwood users please do not jump on me, this is just my experience)

I know it's not in there, but i have to throw in teh deh-p880prs or deh-p860/8600mp from pioneer, i have an 880 and LOVE it. so much adjustability (3 way active, regular 3 way, 16 band l+r EQ.... so sweet)

so are you the one who blows them up?
your remark has no merit other that to make clarion
look better
if you ever were to service both im sure you would find that your judgement is totally unfounded
build quality of kenwood far surpasses clarion
clarion use the same method to attach there faceplates as pyramid does
or are they using the same factory

thats funny, because im leaning towards the clarion based on specs and price. Looks like the clarion out performs the kenwood based on my research.

Well Robmar seems you disagree again, my remark holds no merit....really what about faulty ribbon cables breaking and causing no control functions at all on there hide away face plates, and issues with security code functions not working even though the customer wrote down the codes. Have to be sent to Kenwood for reset. My friend you have no clue who I am or what circle of life I have travelled. All you know is you dislike online vendors. BTW could you please provide more info on the Pyramid statement. Because it holds no truth. And I would much rather have a deck secured the Pyramid way then a face that has no display because the stupid ribbon cables break over and over. They have had that problem since Christ was a cowboy and do nothing about it. Nice! Oh and BTW no I am not the one who blows them up. I am the one who repairs them as I have been doing repairs for a long time, but thanks for asking.

I have a 675 and played with a 575. So far, I love it, clean sound, great features, the slidetrack is absolutly excellent. it isnt alot of flash, but I didnt want alot of flash, I wanted a deck that functioned well and sounded good...I got what I wanted.
