subs/enclosures

MY OPINION
first would want to be able to design type of box that the speaker requirements fit to make sure it will fit properly in the vehicle: sealed, vented, etc...

i have seem to many times that people tell me the size of space they have only not to remember the wiring access, amp mounting/access and heat accumolation (sp?) for all equipment. then after considering all that, the space has been reduced dramatically and now they have subs that won't fit or sound bad.

i always design rough box design to accomodate all above and then try to aim for 200% of minimun requirements for box size and go down from there.
everything has requirements and if all are met reasonablly, your set to build.

i have had two 10" kicker CVR's hit just as hard as 1-15" CVR because of box size, type and location. there is more invoved in 'harmonic bliss' than what people realize.

'oh, i will just build a box and play music'... yeah, right!!!

replaced floor with 1/4 inch mdf. the factory masonite floor was way too soft for the box.
