Hey guys, I was wondering if someone here framiliar with Clarion could give me some help. I have an old DRX8175 that I bought new quite a few years back. Im putting it in my beater car and also wanted to add an eq. My manual says it will control the DPH9100, DPH7100, and the EQH5100. Will this work?

I guess my question is, is the DPH9100 the same as the DPH910?????

Not sure, but that one on e-bay is a refurb.

Check the manual for your DRX8175 and see if it is compatible with CE-Net accessories. I used to own a EQH5100; it worked with the ARX series, so it might also work with a DRX deck...

ARX is Cassette Players
DRX is CD players

The DRX8175 is a 1995 model year head unit. It will control a DPH9100, DPH7100 or EQH5100.

Thge DPH910 is a CeNET bus unit and will not work with that C-Bus head unit.

Ok thanks guys. There is an EQH5100 on Ebay now but just not enough for me. I guess Ill just have to wait untill a DPH9100 turns up.

A friend has one in his car.. I think I might be able to convince him to sell itn. It's worth more than the car right now...

Hmmm... Just out of curiosity...how much would one be worth? Do they come with the optical cable to go from the changer to the DPH?? Let me know and if the price is right maybe we can work something out. I saw in another post you said you had some parts laying around. Would you by chance have the credit card remote for the DRX8175?

Well I just picked up a 9100 and Im just waiting for it to arrive. Still in need of the credit card remote and the optical cable. Just out of curiosity, does it have to be the clarion optical or is it a generic cable? If so what end will I be looking for? Thanks
