Help finding a new amp

i have got a ford focus with 2 Kicker solo x 10"s in a 5cf ported box. Right now i have a Kicker ZR1000 class AB amp
(sounds amazing) even at full blast. But resently i whent to a DB drag in edmonton and i only hit a 141DB on my best run and now i whant to see what these subs can do.So now i am thinkin about a bigger amp but i dont want to loose the SQ that my ZR is puttin out.
My subs are dual 1ohm and are wired up 4ohm and i would like to keep them 4 ohm.
Here are the amps i have been lookin at.
Hifonics xx5000
Atomic 5000 or the 7000
soundstream xxx 6500
What do you guys think about these amps?or do you have any other sugestions?
thanx.

You should wire it at 1 ohm, it will make it a lot easier to get an amp or amps to power em. Also, you might want to experiment with different enclosures, are you using sealed or ported?

Yea... It might look good but 141db is kinda (really) low for 2 10"s of that caliber.

I know it. i was hopin for 145-150db (not with this amp) so my question is whith a bigger amp putting as close to the 2500 watts rms each that my subs can handle. Will it put me in this range?
wireing my subs into 1 ohm will it hurt my SQ as oposed to 4ohm?

PS i do have some dynomat in my hatch and i plan on doing more.
Thanx

1 ohm wouldn't hurt SQ. Those subs RMS at 5000w if i recall, so you are barely feeding them. Pick up 2 Orion 2500d's and wire each sub at half ohm per amp. That should get er done.

Hows your electrical system?

The soloX 10's and 12's are 2500RMS and the 18 is 5000. I think your score will definitely improve if you quintuple your power. Switching from AB to a class D amp might change the SQ a bit, whether its noticeable or not I'm not sure.

You can do street A with two strapped amps.
