ok I'm looking to buy a new deck and I have it down to the Pionner DEH-P7500MP or the JVC KD-LH3150 what do you guys think???
|
I would say the pioneer. 3 sets of pre-outs, great features, and imo, higher quality picture on the display (because of course these are both meant as flashy decks so you might as well compare them).
I've also never had any reliability problems with any pioneer decks I've owned, and I've owned plenty |
well here is the thing the JVC has three preamp outputs too. And the only differance between the two is the pioneer has a crossover built in and the JVC you can add your own pic's
|
For the Jvc I read, Gold-Plated Line Output Terminals (2 pairs), maybe it was wrong on the site, I dunno.
The cross over would only really come in handy if your high didn't come with ones built in, for what they're meant for. (Ie your comp amp not having a hp, or your sub amp not having a lp). Either way, I guess I'm kinda biased, but Pioneers imo are really good units. |
I agree.. Pioneer makes higher quality decks than JVC IMO. Unless there is something that really strikes you about the JVC, I'd go for the pioneer.
|
I'd go Pioneer, higher quality decks than JVC.

pioneer 7500 mp all the way. the jvc is not a bad deck but doesnt give as good crossover points like the 7500mp

I have not had good experience with JVC decks in the past so my vote goes to the Pioneer.
The Pioneer will likely retain better resale value also for when you decide to run the P9 combo :D . |
Well thanks I was going to get the pioneer because the JVC didn't have a crossover but the fact is future shop was out of stock of the deck I was looking forward to have it in my hands but I guess not for a while.
