Most car alts dont produce anymore than like 110-120 amps, so minus your lights, radio, clock, A/C, heater, and all that other crap and you've got like 80-90 amps, you will never draw over 150 out of a stock car alt.


Edit: the part about your amps drawing more current depending on the channels is not true.. If so my PG 4-channel would draw 120ampsx4 = 480AMPs... You'd be hard pressed to find a fuse that big
