Arrow Hey there, New the the forums

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums I've been lookin around for the past week or so, Lookin at peoples installs, and trying to get a better knowledge of some stuff. Anyway....
What do you guys think are the top 5 or so 6x8 Speakers for my truck, And what Brands of amps would you recommend to run them.
What do you guys think about Hifonics B12D4 12" Subs
* Sensitivity: 86 dB
* RMS Power Range : 600 Watts
* Peak Power Handling: 1200 Watts
* Impedance: Dual 4 Ohm
* Diameter: 12 Inch

I'm looking at getting two of these Subs, or something similar, Do you think a Crutch GPV200.1D Mono Amp would power these subs Good?
Thanks in advance to all who reply.
Moose

Hifonics makes some decent equipment for a decent price, you will have better luck buying from a dealer in canada, especially when it comes to warrenty on the equipment.

As for the 6x8's, if you are looking for SQ, you are better off to look for an adaptor plate and put some components in, it is what I did when I owned my grand am...

The reason i was staying away from components is because i don't want to have to put in Tweeters because its a 2008 Ford, and i don't want my dealership bit*chin at me about modified panels and Such.

Eclipse makes a darn fine set of 5x7" speakers, I use them in my own Ford. ECLIPSE Car Navigation and Audio Systems | Fujitsu Ten and they are the SP5710 model. To step up from these if you are after a top notch set of speakers, Morel would be my next suggestion but the Eclipse are more than likely going to exceed your expectations. I have the Pioneer Premiere 12" subs on sale right now if you are after a deal on some great subs.

The brutus subs are a great choice. They are a very good all around performer. As for the GPV2000 amp, i have one in my car right now and is also great for the price. You can buy from online car stereo and maxxsonics will honour their warranties. But only their.
