Hi to all and a little help with a PXA-H700

Hi everyone!!
I`m John From Malaga, Spain.
Just registered to this forum and hope I will learnd many things in here.

I have installed on my car and old Alpine CDA-9815rb , to infinity Amps for front and back 5.25cs infinity Kappa Series, and 1 Active infinity Sub.

I know its not much but I did not want to modify my car ( Renault Laguna II break)
I also have conected a DVD, Digital TV, and CarPC and rear view camera to a front touch screen, and to headreast screens.

All audio is controlled by a audio switch. same as video.

Now my problem is that I have a double din deck in which i have the head unit and the touch screeen and I have just bought an ALPINE PXA-H700 so that I can use the optical outputs ftom the car pC and the DVD but got no room left.

Could I remove the headunit and replace it with the PXA? The touch screen has radio and the dvd can play CD`s so is it worth to keep the head unit?

Best regards and thanks for the help!!!!

If you have the controller for the PXA then for sure you can toss the head unit. The PXA has master volume control and your have all the sources covered so no need for the head unit.

Ok, many thanks. SO I will no be missing anything right? Because, If I connect the pxa to the head unit by Ainet would I be able to control all the input from the source button of the head unit or would I need to control them from the PXA?
Would I have any problems with my Hadsfree? because it uses the mute line on the headunit.
Best regards.
