High current/High voltage

ok so i got a sony xplod XM-1002HX last nigh and it works well but it has a high current/High voltage switch on the bottom i know noting about anyone know about these and how to use them ill be running my fonts of it and was wondering about the swith thanx alot

The switch optimizes the amp for the impedance range it will operate in. Lower impedances = high current. Higher impedances = high voltage.

In your case, for a component set, set it to high voltage.
