I was wondering what are some good high end/quality JVC decks? I just installed a really cheap JVC deck into my moms car and man does it sound good even with the ****ty kenwood and pioneer speakers it has in it. I have always liked JVC's but I went the Alpine CDA-7893 route since they had the 4 point digital timming system, and now that I am looking for an MP3 deck was wondering what are some good high end/quality JVC decks.

Just in general what are some good high end decks other then alpine, I like JVC, and could do pioneer but just dont know what are some other good manufactures of decks. Even still what are some good models for the $$$? Thanks!

I am currently using the JVC KD-DV5000.
It's the unit they currently have at future shop. It plays dvd's, as well as mp3's...etc.
It has a built in 7 band eq, and changes colours to whatever you want. (If you're into that sort of thing).
I got it on ebay for less than in stores, it sounds great and works great so far.
Only problem I have, and it is a small one, is that it's silver so it kind of screams steal me, to those who might look inside the car.

Does it not have a detachable screen? Meh my deck is silver and I have an alarm so meh lol.

Dont think i need that high end of one, dont see me hooking up an LCD screen anytime soon in my car so I dont really need a DVD player type deck....

I would look at the KDG800 or the KDLX500 both are nice units

The KD-G800 is a great buy. triple 4V outputs, burr brown d/a, $269.

The KDAR800 has 5 volt preouts and is an Arsenal piece from the JVC line. Burr Brown, 2 year warranty, triple 5volt preouts, motorized face, mp3, remote, detachable face...

hmm that kd-ar800 actually looks like a nice deck visually and well specs. To bad that only alpine has the 4 point digital time correction. Hmm now if only i could find a kd-ar800 for a good price lol....
