High voltage on an optima red top

The alternator regulator just went on my car and my optima redtop saw at least 19 volts for a minute or two while driving on the highway. There is a little optima juice / acid on top of the battery and it was bubbling alittle bit.
Will the battery make it?
Luckily none of the electronics in my car seem to be fried. Stereo, lights, all working fine.
Thanks for any input.

Lmfao, maybe the funniest post I've ever read. The pressure exhaust caps probably blew, I'm pretty sure that thing is toast.
