Man these woofers bang that if im on the street and a car is next to me the other cars front mirror starts to shake i was impressed bad thing was, the woofer RMS is 500 watt and i was using an amp that gives out 600 watt RMS and i noticed how it sounded muddy when i turned up the gain so i had to take it out but the woofer didnt smelled burnt or overheated and no mater how hard u push the woofer it will NEVER touch the bottom it never bottoms out the muddy sound was because i had the LPF set a little over half and when u turn up the gain it sounds like that. so i got a hollywood edge 3600 watt max / 1200watt RMS and i was suprised because the woofer bairly moved and in the other it would have moved alot so i turned up the bass boost or gain and it sounds hard but now i dont know if i want to buy a ported enclosure or a soundstream xxx 18 because right now i have a sealed enclosure and i want a more "Boomy" sound so what should i do? and i know that the soundstream is expensive but ill buy it blown so i can recone it. tell me what i should do please???????
