Well with myself i have always used the gold in the gold/silver wires for pos and i have always used the marked wire for neg no matter the color so if i use diff brands i always know the striped one is neg consistency is key bros

You werent specific enough, but I put if its got a stripe its negative, or vise versa, it doesnèt matter, whatever helps you remember which is neg and which is pos

I use the marked one for positive unless the wire has one solid color and the stripe on the other wire is the same I use it as negative, eg: green wire, other is white with green stripe I make that neg. Green wire other is green with white stripe I use it as positive. I dont know why I do this thats just the way my brain thinks it should be.

if it's a black stripe, I use it as negative. Otherwise, always positive. Has worked for me!

My new focals have a red stripe on the tweeter wire. I read the manual and no documentation about this.

Over the years the line always meant negative!

Any thoughts?

Black wires? One with a red stripe? Chances are the red striped wire is positive. It's stupid but most tweeters are like this.

Focal Support team states that red line is for Positive(+)

They also said they've been asking to get the manual updated with that info.

SO RED line is positive!
