Hooking up Alpine LCD unit to Ebrake
To watch dvds it says to hook it up to the handbrake and footbrake.
We want to bypass this and wondering if the signal for these wires its a 12v source or ground?
Anyone made a switch to bypass this so you dont need to have the ebrake on to watch dvds etc?

You need a momentary switch to a 12v source for the foot brake and a toggle switch to ground for the e-brake..
They require a sequence... ebrake on - foot brake on - Ebrake off - ebrake on - foot brake off.. ( Atkeast thats how I do it in mine,,
