how loud can you go without experiencing hearing loss

its not so much as ringing at night, that I've experienced, its not having as sensitive hearing for the first 2 hours or so after getting out of a really loud car. That is what I meant by temporary hearing loss. Is that still a problem? I'm sure it is right?

The thing that causes most hearing loss for me is when the wife starts yelling at me..... after a while I don't hear a thing. When I was young, my mom's screaming hurt the ears. My ex-girlfriends never caused hearing loss - only my wife of 21 years.

All kidding aside, good music at high levels (not ridiculous levels) can actually be good for you. Arousal of the senses - increased blood flow.
