At the bottom of the page he made a post about his move:

Looks like a good upgrade from Salmon Arm, but then what wouldn't be. I couldn't believe he had a business there and it was successful.

I'm sure his internet sales helped considerably.

Not here to bash any stores, but some of them really need to work on their customer service if they expect to stay competitive. Case in point, my brother was looking for a double-din deck by Clarion around Christmas/New Year's. He tried a well-established audio shop in Vancouver that is one of the few left that sell Clarion (hint: located on Main Street). He walked in, the place was a ghost-town. He inquired about the deck, they indicated that they would have to order one in. He expressed interest in doing this, they indicated that the man in charge of ordering was away. My brother left his name and number, and asked them to let him know when they would get one in. Days passed, no phone call. He phoned them, nobody knew anything about this order......I made a few calls, and he was able to order one in through another shop in the lower mainland. Having worked in the industry very briefly, I explained to my brother how some distributors require a minimum order amount before they can send out an order. These shops need to work a little bit harder, he had cash in hand but nobody was interested in helping out......

^^^^^^^ Bummer. I had heard some negative things about them through the grapevine, but I hadn't heard any stories like that yet.

Everyone around me has either closed or changed their scope by going strictly into home audio. The shops that haven't changed seem to be prospering.
