How old is your gear?
My oldest piece being the HU is circa 1987 . |
Nak?
I've got the original PG MS-250 which I believe is the first amp PG brought to the market, and THE amp which made people sit up and take notice....goes back to about 1989 if I remember right. Still works like a charm! |
My RF Power 300 has the older-style silkscreening on it for the Rockford Fosgate print. You know, the one where the R and F had the really long 'tails' on them. I saw an online owners manual for a 1989 one and it had the newer printing, so it's 1988 or earlier. I'm not sure how old my 3545 is but I'm guessing 1988. I tried using the 300 in my current system but need to get a channel fixed. So, right now my oldest piece would be either my 3401 eq or 3656 crossover which I am guessing is circa 1990-1991.

hmm, I have an Alpine changer from 1989, four RF Pro 8s from about 1991, a Punch 40 and 60 from 1992, a BBE 3012 from about 1992, my Canton mainframe amp from the 80s, my Coustic AMP560 from 1991...
The only thing that might make it into my car though is the BBE |
Any plans for those punch amps Dukk?
|
^ Not really but I cannot bring myself to sell them. Long term plan is to get a muscle car in the next couple of years and resurrect all my old gear for an old skool install in an old skool car

1992: Set of Quart Mobil QM 210K (8" woofer 3/4" tweet)
1992: Set of Quart Mobil QM 218CS (6.5" woofer 1" tweet) 1988/89: Denon DCA3500 5 channel Class A amp (mint) 1993/94?: Rodek RA-2150i 2 x 150W amp 1992: Alpine 3321 1/2 din EQ None of it is currently in use however. Although all of it is in great shape and works well. Also have a Denon DCE-2155 1/2 din EQ from around 1990? Adcom amps: I have 1 x GFA-4404(NIB) and 3 X GFA-4302s(mint). I think these will be classics, but right now they are only a few years old (1994/96?). The Hammer [ December 24, 2004, 09:16 PM: Message edited by: TheHammer ] |
