how should i wired my sub and amp
 

I was thinking of getting the 10 or 12 of the ssa icon sub and wasn't sure what to get. Either the 1 ohm or 2 ohm version. I don't really know the difference between them. As well as I was thinking of getting the sundown saz-1000d amp. I was just wondering how I should wire the sub to the amp to get the best possible sound and also, how much power would i be putting to the sub from the amp. now the saz-1000d amp says it take 0 gauge wire, how big is that and do i really need 0 gauge? Also, what is the ssa icon or dcon comparable to.
