How to use capacitors

I have 2 amps a 4 channel and mono block and 2 1 farad caps 1 for each amp and i'm using 2 10W6's.

Question:
Do I really need to use to caps per amp?
Should I use just 1 cap for the mono block?
Would a 1 farad cap be enough for the mono block if it's running 2 10W6's or should I get a bigger cap?

Any suggestions?

You don't really need to use any caps but since you have them I would connect them in parallel and connect both amps to them.

The best alternative in my opinion to capacitors are second batteries if you have the space.
