I don't find his concerns all that ludicrous really...

Show up an an SPL show with a pair of Kenwood (for example) woofers and people are gonna

Show up with a set of DDs (for example) though and it's instant cred.

Same in the SQ world - show up with Focal and people are

but show up with something like MTX, like I run, and suddenly you have to "prove yourself"

It's the numbers you put out, though I do get what you are saying.

Who cares what "brand" it is -- maybe we should take a page out of Alma Gate's book... she can win with "anything" -- it is the box and install that wins... and winning gives you "cred".
