the pictures don't show it well, but i'm going to assume that;s industrial strength silicone holding those spiders to the cone... good job!are they a one burp sub?

pinhead 05-04-2004 06:21 PM

i would say you didn't use enough adhesive

NTOXKTD 05-04-2004 06:24 PM

These are built to take 16k plus. It doesn't have to look pretty to work. It just has to hold.

ShockingCanada 05-04-2004 07:09 PM

no that doesn't look like silicone it looks like cyanoacrylate that was very fresh used with accelerator which makes it hot and makes parts turn white often

hell, anyone who can build a sub gets my respect. Good job.

BooLeaN 05-04-2004 08:10 PM

Looks cool. Those baskets look like the same baskets that the Magnum D2's were in last year.

ChizzerZ24 05-04-2004 09:15 PM

Where can you find stuff to actually build them? Do you just buy a prefab basket/driver? or what? seems like a cool idea.

Rich i dont mean to be the bad news but doesnt equipment have to commercially available for it to be legal to use in db drag? those subs are home made from 3 diff types and brands of subwoofers.

I am sure that after admitting that you cheat, you are not going to tell on him are you?
