What a joke and a waste of time. They wont do it. They would lose.

fresh1 04-22-2010 01:18 PM

uhhh, I thought it was libel, not liable

Njord 04-22-2010 01:25 PM

I find it hard to believe a company like ID would try suing a forum for banning a sales rep for not following the rules. Why would ID give two sh*ts about a sales rep getting banned from a FORUM? Sean is just trying to scare CCA by using his work email to make you think ID will sue/even care.

But it surly is entertaining. Please post the emails as you get them.

It is... Sean W. Adler of Image Dynamics is a moron who tried to threaten me but didn't realize that he's not bright enough to make it happen.

For future reference Sean W. Adler of Image Dynamics here's the definitions:

Notice the difference?

Now, I KNOW that the second definition used more big words that probably scare and confuse you so allow me to help clarify.

–verb (used without object) 5. to utter or circulate slander.

Lets be perfectly clear on this one. At no point was there any defamation OR slander.

I recounted parts of a story.

If YOU consider them to be inaccurate thats fine. This doesn't mean that you have been defamed or slandered (Is that even a word? I'm not sure but I don't think Sean W. Adler of Image Dynamics wouldn't know the difference :dunno:)

Staff @ CAFz 04-22-2010 02:16 PM

^ if he could read, you would be in SOOOO much trouble.

Have you called a lawyer yet?

JordyO 04-22-2010 02:18 PM

I don't need a lawyer... I'll just get a job at another manufacturer... that qualifies me to be a lawyer on my own, no? :dunno:

dude - to protect yourself from Sean's highly trained legal team you should say, "IT IS MY OPINION THAT... ..."
Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion (ooooh - Dukk took a >little< Law ;) )

I'd be careful though - he could spend all the profits from the ID-One suing you
