I have a pioneer DEH 6800...
Problem Solved, never mind.
|
when you put in a disc upside drunk down, sometimes it barfs it back out, sometimes it eats it. :)
After yoiu un-install it and take it to a repair shop, they useually have a $100 flat rate for cleaning, checkup which will include stuck disc. |
100? Is their nothing I can do..because if its actually gonna cost me a 1/3rd of what i paid for it ill just buy that clarion deck I wanted and toss this one.
|
LOL.
Rather than asking us, you'd be better to drive by your local shop and ask, show them the problem. I wouldn't even write up a work order for less than 100, maybe you'll find someone to do it for cash, no warrantee and he might screw it up worse. |
OR,
you can do it yourself. Go to homedepot, buy yourself a set of mini screwdrivers and sit at your kitchen table taking appart the deck till you get the cd out. Then have fun putting it back together. Don't forget the beer. Worst case: You toally screw it up and have a paper weight. Then you go buy the new deck you wanted anyway. I had my 12 pack CD changer in a million peices and it still works. I took my wife's factory ford changer appart to remove a stuck disc and it still works. |
if it's under warranty, send it in...
|
Where would I send it too? I dont have toe original reciept..just the box.
|
So I called pioneer and I need the original receipt but for some reason its not in the box like i left it so I called best buy and they told me they dont keep records of debit, So ive been arguing with pioneer for the last half hour because I have the original box and I can get a bank statement. Ive left a message with the manager. Retail has to be the biggest scam ever created.
