i think i was ripped off buying focal k2power speakers
i really envy you guys as you live in countries where there is law in case you get ripped off, but not where i live.long story short, i had the intention to change my speakers so i went to a garage where they sell things, so i asked him to give me good speakers he recommended to the focal k2power so i asked how much he said around 250 USD for one pair. at this point i thought yeah lets change those old speakers still at that point i did not know exactly focal as a company so when i returned home, I checked online how much they cost and boom they are way expensive much much more than I paid for.
So I went to him and told him how come they are so cheap especially I read there are so many fake ones flying around on the net, he said they are original, please note where I live is different than other places where there is law and professional police, so he told to get lost and do whatever, so i yelled at him and barely we had a fist fight, but he claims they are original, i am sure they are not. Now as to how they sound they sound ok, compared to the JBL component I had on. So if they are fake how come they sound good. how can i know for sure if they r fake or not What would you do in my case |
The speakers should have a serial # etched on the back of the magnet. Get the serial # and contact Focal to confirm if they are real or not.

well a little update so I entered the serial number and registered the product onto focal website and it was confirmed to be an original.
I am just confused how cheaply i bought them, i still cant fathom the price difference, the only thing that confused me is that the tweeter for my k2power looks slightly different than whats in the pictures. |
