But dude build or have a proper box built for your sub. A box and properly powering your sub will make such a huge difference

I was talking if he keeps the 12 or gets 8's at the same price range and on the same amp. I still say the 12 will kill two 8's if the criteria above are met. It would be like $400 for those two 8's. Even still he really needs to get a new box, the bassworx boxes are to big or to small and the ports are always noisey.
