Has anyone here registered their business so they can import their own products from the US or other countries?

I'm asking because all of my products will be imported from either the US or Europe. I'd like to know if it's reasonable to do all the brokerage on my own.

I've found a link on the customs web site that says you need to register your business, but I want to know if anyoen has done it. If so, can you offer up some advice?

I am considering this aspect of business right now. I do not see any reason as to why existing indipendents cannot work together on this as well. Any interested parties?

Can't be that tough - I have zero particulars but at the last independent I worked at the owner cleared all of our US stuff himself. Of course, we had the luxury of being 10mins from the border too [img]tongue.gif[/img]
