How does that effect sound?Better refelection?Better refraction?Better resonence?
Can some one please explain what exactly the benifit of it is and why?

I fail to see what the big deal with that is. It looks like it works like any other sound deadener. When you stick something to dampen vibrations to the back of a piece of metal, that's generally what happens. I'm sure if that guy simply pressed his hand against the back of the sheet, it would do the exact same thing.
