inverted sub question
hey i was just wondering. i know that inverted subs are usually in ported boxs but what about in sealed boxes? do they still sound good whats the difference between it being regular mounted and inverted in a sealed box? just wondering cause i like the look of the subs inverted and i have a sealed box but it i have to ill build a ported box

having a inverted sub does not matter, the only thing is you have to pay attention to is the fact that there is no displacement from the sub. so if you have one inverted and one normal the you will have to build the enclosure accordingly, just remember that the driver is generally the same on the front as it is on the back :) have a good one !

kind of a noob... what ? lol
|
did you call me a noob?? the sub is the same on the front as it is on the back, so it doesent matter what type of box you put it in it just has to be the right size and be designed to be in a sealed or a ported enclosure.

This is another one of those longstanding myths that car audio can't seem to shake, for some reason. |
