If its a plasma you shouldn't be hooking a computer up to it anyways. And instead of a splitter, go buy a cheap $50 video card with 2 vga outputs.

I mean a cable that plugs into the video card you have now that has 3 RCA connecters at the other end. They will probably be coloured red, green and blue.....find a set of those jacks on the TV and plug them in.

You may have to adjust the screen resolution on the TV and the ouput from the video card to match them up but it should work......

Yeah ok, but there's gotta be an explaination for why the VGA cable isn't working, how do u modify the resolution of the screen on the pc like suggested earlier.

Before you unhook your monitor right-click on the desktop, select properties and adjust the resolution from there.

Find one that comes close to your TV capabilities....1366 X 768 is 720P, which should give you a pretty good pic on the TV.

I just use plain water for my LCD screen. You have to be careful as there may be a coating on the screen. Using any kind of chemical cleaner may affect the coating. I know my old TV had some anti glare coating on it that started to come off after a few cleanings with windex. It always looked like there was streaks on the screen after that.

Another thought, is there an option in the video card setup to enable dual monitors? My video card is 7 years old ( 8x AGP ) and it will do both the monitor and a TV but it has to be set up in the options.

Glad you got it to work. Too bad you had to switch video cards but a picture is better than nothing.
