JBL is a very good company that has alot of experience building woofers, are they better than Rockford? Hard to answer, what model of Rockford? What application?

Well i've got no idea about their mobile audio woofers, But i do know their PA woofer. They are considered one of the best in the Pa industry, so i'd bet their mobile woofers cant be half bad either

I've heard the new and old style GTi's and they are stud's. I would use them in a heartbeat if they would work in a smaller box.

For the lower lines I believe they just aren't as mainstream as the others but I don't feel you could go wrong with them. The GT120D against the HE 12, I would say whichever you find cheaper.
