So I just purchased 2 brand new JL audio 12W6 subs, and I am having a hard time deciding what amplifier to get. Im stuck deciding between the JL Audio 1200/1 HD or the Rockford T1500. The JL is really expensive but would it be worth it? Money is not a big issue but there is a decent price difference between the two.

 

Personally, I would go with the JL. There's a good amount more technology put into it to ensure you're always getting the 1200 watts vs the rockford.

the HD will be better suited if your running a air of w6's.
I have personally run a 1200/1 hd on 2 12" W6's and been very happy with the results.

You should be incredibly pleased from the overall output, small chasis, efficiency and of course sound quality from the HD amplifiers.

well ive listed new jl items in the classifieds few times at "steal of a deal" prices but still no one bites...i can get real good deals on most JL equipment

 

I'll keep you in mind, would be doing a partial jl build sometime early next yr.

4 8w7 or 2 sa-8v2 or 4 e8v3
im very indecisive so until all my custom panels/deadening/electrical in upgraded i wont decide on my sub stage....too many options..wish i had 2 cars and do two different setups lol
