JL Audio: 13W7 vs 12W7
 

My AMP: JL Audio 1000/1v2.
Box: Sealted
What sub 13W7 or 12W7 better for SQ?

I'd go with the 13w7. Wouldn't have to work as hard to get as loud as the 12w7, therefore the output should be cleaner.

13inch vs 12inch. hummmm 1 inch difference. just a tad louder from cone area but besides that if power rating is the same i would pick the 12. but thats me

Go with the 13.5 for a couple of reasons.

sd of 13.5=107sqin vs 12 = 84sq in
13.5 has dv1.5 ohm vs 12 single 3 ohm.
The 13.5 will take quite a bit more power then the 12.

Find a Jbl bpx 2200.1

Or find a second hand re xxx or ascendant audio avalanche 15. I had 2 avalanche 15s and they sounded GReat in sealed boxes :)
