JL Audio Component Speaker System

Hello, just had a quick question i have some new speakers put in my car, and needed some help with it.

front i have JL Audio C2-650 2-Way 6-1/2" Component Speaker System
C2-650 - Car Audio - Evolution® - C2 - Component Systems - JL Audio

Back i have JL AUDIO TR690-TXi 6x9
TR690-TXi - Car Audio - Evolution® - TR - Coaxial Systems - JL Audio

and both of them are hooked up to

JL AUDIO JX360/4 4-CHANNEL CLASS A/B FULL RANGE AMPLIFIER
JX360/4 - Car Audio - Amplifiers - JX - JL Audio

so here is the thing, I have it all hooked up and working fine but i dont know if i am getting all that i can get from these, i have never had anything like this before with the cross overs, it has the woofer and tweeter going into the c2 cross over and 2 speaker wires to the amp, these is a thing in the cross over for the tweeter marked " Tweeter Level " and 3 options for it +2 DB, Ref and +3db what should i set it on,

I am not sure that i have these set up to get the max sound from these i mean they are loud but not what i thought. Is the amp good enough to or to small, I provided links to the stuff that i listed at the top so you could look at it if you wanted to, I just want these to scream i dont want the bass because i have to kickers in the trunk, Witch brings me to what should i set my HPF to on my radio is goes from HPF Front 40/60/80/100/120/150/180/220 Hz and same for the rear

Today when i was driving my speakers cut out for like 2 secs and came back on my subs where still on tho, i think it might have something to do with the Input Sensivity Control on the amp but not sure weird :

Anyways thats my problem and any help would be highly appreciated Thanks All

PS: sorry i am new at this new stuff i am not use to having nice speakers like this

Amp is fine !

Tweeter level: is simply how loud you want your tweeter playing relative to your speaker, set to your likeness.

Hpf: anywhere from 100 to 120 (if using the hpf on the deck, then set filter mode on amp to off).

input sensitivity : read up on how to set your gain with a multimeter

Speaker cutout : check for loose wiring and connections.

Cool thanks, So does it matter if i use the HU hpf or amp hpf they both work the same right ? and i only want 1 on not both right ?

I thought the amp was a little under powered but now i feel better now that you said it was fine.

Thanks again

Dont use both, use the hu filter, more accurate to set compared to the amp.

one more thing, after reading i found this out, This might be the problem to my cutting in and out at high volumes,

The C2 crossover networks are equipped with
an advanced electronic tweeter protection circuit
designed to minimize the possibility of tweeter
failure This electronic device monitors current
going to thetweeter and will disconnect the
tweeter from the signal when it senses overload.
Should this occur while listening to the audio
system, simply reduce the volume for a few
seconds and the protection circuit will reset
itself automatically

so i am starting to think maybe i have the input sensitivity up to high lol, but i set it to where its loud enough up front without cranking the volume to max on the HU, so i am going to look into this
