What is better JL or Eclipse ? :cheeky4:

um.......for what exactly?!?!? We need a little more info. What products are you comparing (speakers, subs, amps....), and are you going for spl or sq? What model lines are you looking at? That is a REALLY broad question you're asking!

Better value, Eclipse hands down.

JL is amazing but elcipse isnt to far behind in quality. So it just depends on price in my book.

Ive owned 6 Jl amps and had malfunction issues with all but 2 . the 500/1's seem to be stable , the 1000/1 seems to burn up alot , and the 300/2's seem to be defective in all kind of way's , for instance sometimes the one on my tweets will start to play a few db louder for a few sec. then return to normal .the right channel of the one on my mids does this also , I've had to return 2 of these already . However , I own 2 w6 v2 subs and 2 w7 subs , never blown 1 , except blowing it out of the box , and they sound great .

cool little info on the jl amps. The engineer that designed them is jeff skoon (spelling?) he's the same guy that made the PPI art series amps. cooler fact that he's from canada.(I think arround huntsville). I got a chance to hang out with him for a night and the guy is super cool.
Im a big fan of the JL line. I believe all the amp problems have been fixed.
I sold Jl at my store for 8 years(that wa three years ago) and the factory support is amazing.The canadian distributer is easy on warrenty items and turn arround time is fast.

I have 2 JL 300/4 amps and have never had any problems with them.
