i have a set of the components and love them. too bad icant afford to finish buying the rest of the sets i need for my new install thou. sadly they must go.

So easy...

The biggest difference between the drivers is revealed in their midbass performance. JL Audio subs aren't known for snappy midbass, whereas I have found the Focal woofers to be quite good in that regard.

Both are excellent woofers, and play deep. The W6 may work in a slightly smaller cabinet at the expense of some efficiency, but the engineers at JL have done a very good job on that balance.
