JVC KD-G710 Deck, Sub Hook-Up Question!
Hey guys. I'll finally soon be able to get my sub setup (hard being a student ) but, since I won't be able to install it myself, as I deffinatly wouldn't do it right, I have a few questions to ask you guys, who actully know car audio, before I take it to the guy who's installing it for me. First off, my deck, a JVC KD-G710, doesn't have an option to adjust the subs, the one that is a step above it does. So, that makes me wonder do I have a sub-output in the back of the deck? I'd check myself, but I just don't have the time to, so can anyone tell me? Also, if it doesn't have those sub-outs, do I have to go out a buy a deck that does, or can it be wired up anyway. In advance, I appreciate your help. Thanks a lot,
Hodder

Do you want the manual too? Your rear outs can be switched to sub, then you adjust sub level with fader. I used to have a 97 Z24, sold it for scrap with 368K on it about 18 months ago.

Excellent man, I appreciate the info and help. So, to my understanding, the lines will hook on those rear outputs, which there are 2 of, and I can adjust how loud they are by fading it more to the rear for louder, and more to the forward to turn them down, which makes sense. But, I don't understand how you can "switch" the rear outs to run a sub?
