KENWOOD EXCELON X1200M (refurbished)

I'm looking for an amp that will power my subs, 2 4Ohm DVC subs with 200W RMS per VC = 800W RMS total. This amp I've found is perfect for these subs, to peak power is higher on the amp but I can work with that. I have a Kenwood deck and 4 channel amp that I'm VERY happy with. Now the amp that I'm looking at right now is perfect but it's been refurbished... There is a warranty depending on which item i go for but I'm wanting your opinions on the idea.
Thanks

These amps had some SERIOUS issues when they came out. Thus why it's a refurb. Almost every one we sold came back for warranty. Now however all is fixed and we haven't had an issue since.

For how much $? Check out the AudioQue 750W @ 1 ohm for $199, I'd bet it does a little over 800W too.

So there shouldn't be any problems with the amp and it being a referb?

Any other opinions?

Price would sway my opinion and if your ordering off eBay from over the border don't expect to get much help from the seller if anything goes wrong.

I had a problem with the 4 channel kenwood amp i bought from a seller over the boarder and all I had to do was pay to ship it back to the seller and then back to myself, which wasn't a whole lot. I never had a problem at all with the seller, they answered my call when i called and answered my questions and everything... i understand that not all sellers are like that, but yeah.

It'll work better now that we know the issue's been fixed than it would have new!

and 14.4 is optimum voltage that your alternator will charge at. Usually you'll see 13.5-14 though. No special equipment required

But what comes off of the battery is 12.5 or w/e and wouldn't that be going to the amp?

the battery will sit at about 12.5 when the car is off. once running the alternator charges at 14.4.
