Hi all,

My dad has an mp 8011 where the display is acting up severely. Does anyone have a DIY on the faceplate ribbon replacement?

I doubt the deck is worth the price of having it repaired - but how much would I be looking at the ribbon replacement?

Anyone know of a local Kenwood parts distributor - I can't seem to locate one.

I need these parts:

Ribbon Cable - Part# J84-0121-12

Contact Block - Part# E58-0903-05

If you can't find it on your own , try to sweet talk a local dealer ship who does repairs into ordering them 4 u . May cost a little more but it will get ya what ya need , unless hu parts are like some car parts and all ya need is a handle for your door and they hit you for 350 $ for the whole door panel , thank u ford .
