Kicker KX1200.1
 

Just a quick question:
I have a pair of KX1200.1's that are going to be strapped Kicker says 2ohm minimum load.
How bad would running them at 1ohm be? (daily for music)

The amps are 1 ohm stable, so I would say they would be alrighty. :) That's where they get the rated 1200 watts at.

when you strap them they make 2400Watts @ 2ohm

I'm wondering if i can run them at 1ohm when strapped.

try it.
But I think it would work for awhile then over heat and go into protection.

Yes it will run at 1ohms strapped then also heard no it wont atleast for any length of time.
