Kicker L5 12" vs 2 10" MTX rt10-'s

Just wondering if a kicker L5 would be better than 2 mtx rt10's?

And if the kicker would be able to keep up with the rhythm of a kickdrum or a bass guitar? I'm pretty new to the audio scene and respect all your opinions. Any thoughts and/or suggestions would be great . Thanks.

The 12 will take 200W more than the 10's and has a higher sensitivity so it should have the same output. It's sound is determined more from the box, amp, head unit etc. It will keep up with bass guitar stuff. I wouldn't buy either of those subs. You can get better for less. I'm assuming you mean the L5 12", because it'll take up about the same amount of space as 2 10's. I see you're in St. Catharines, I'm near you. If you want to save up more money, I'm selling my stuff, I have an 05 RE XXX 12", I havn't used it since I bought it months ago, and I have a sealed box and a 1500W amp for it. I bought the amp and sub from other members. I just want what I paid for it, 350 for the sub, 250 for the amp, and ? for the box, make an offer.

Thats sounds like a pretty sick deal. I'll have to see what the cash flow will be like.

I already have the 2 rt10's .. Just want something that hits harder but isn't retarded loud , but still sounds pretty decent.
