Kicker RMB8 question
Just picked up a set of these
from what I have read about them, they are strictly a midbass driver (30-500hz response). Anyone used these? Any chance I can get away with running just these and tweeters up front, along with subs in the back? thanks

I'd be more concerned about the upper end of their range.
That 500hz limit leaves a large gap between them and your tweeters.....I have been using Orion MB6's for years and have always had a 5.25 midrange to fill the hole. If install space is an issue, maybe a 4" coax instead of a dedicated tweeter would work better.
Another 2 cents down the drain....

Thanks guys, I have a set of Infinity Beta One tweeters that run down to 1.5khz using the factory crossover, might have to experiment a bit. Also have the matching 5" mids, maybe I will do a redesign on my door panels.
those RMB8's WILL NOT be any useful as midrange drivers, even if you have horns playing below 1Khz. they are truly midbasses so you will need something to fill in the gap between your tweets and the 8's.
