Lanzar, Pyramid

Hi everyone,

I have i question.... im trying to upgrade my sound system... and am not that short on cash, but just dont want to spend a lot of money on it.. and what i want to achieve is simply a good sounding music inside the car --> dont want ot compete or anything.
I got an access to lanzar and pyramid with dealer prices. researched the web a little and some say that is a complete junk and found some good reviews as well.
for those of you who dealt with these brands, let me know if its worth spending money on. Is it really that crappy or was it just opinions of fancy installers and competers ? i realize that of course for example rockford fostgate is much better, but how much of a difference is it ? :dunno:

Ive been impressed with lanzar's opti line.... and thier lower lines like the heritage series isn't that bad either.... make no mistake, most of thier stuff is not cutting edge...... but Id say at least par for the course compaired to many other mainstream companies...

pyramid is kind of cheesy... but again I have had good results with thier higher end equipment..... just don't believe that the subs/amps are really 2000watts... :o

I would stay away from pyramid...
However Lanzar is a different story...They have different product lines that are good and bad...Here are there lines from best to worst
1. OPTI/ OPTI HC
2. Heritage
3. Vibe
4. Viberant (the model # will say vibe but these are really the vibrant, they are chrome with a blue light rod)
5. MXA

I would stay away from the Viberant and MXA product lines...
I currently have Heritage 5.25 components in the front, Heritage 6x9 3 ways in the rear and OPTI class D running an OPTI sub...It is very, very loud and I am extremely happy with it...My neighbours aren't...:smokin:

I sell Lanzar, Pyle, Pyramid, Legacy

The Lanzar stuff from the Opti and Heritage line as stated above work great for the money, other series are not that great at all.

Pyle make some things that are ok like there Dryver series and a couple others a s well.

Legacy and Pyramid dont even bother they are not worth free in my opinion and I dont sell it at all even if someone wants it i talk them outta it or let them buy somewhere else as it is not worth buying and I wont put my name out there for it.

I would if you can get at cost go with Lanzar you wont be disapointed for the money man.

Just to let the mods know I`m in no way trying to sell stuff (dont wanna get in trouble)

Hope I have helped

few ppl mentiond here that the OPTIs were a good product line from Lanzar. i would have to agree. i know the guys at the distribution company (Dana Trading) in T.O who deal with Pyle, Lanzar, Pyramid, and Legacy. they used to carry Earthquake and Crunch...but no more.

for the money, def go all the way with Opti series, u wont be disapointed at all. i went to a few car audio shows and was suprised to see "some" with the opti amps and subs. in all honesty i didnt see any differnce in sound compared to RF etc. but stay away from Pyramid and Legacy.
