Hey guys, been away the last 2 weeks on my honeymoon and SEMA so I couldn't answer some questions to I will try to in the order that they appeared.

I have to 100% agree with defro on this, everyone seems to think that if you roll a car bling bling and have the big system you have to deal drugs, that is a insult to hard working people, I have nice cars with nice systems, does this mean I deal drugs ? No I make good money and have good credit..................SUX 2BU, I told you how the guy can afford it and you still think it is crap based on your comment about being entirely plausible, and this is not the first time I have had this discussion with you............he paid me to work on his car....................that is all the matters.....................I don't care so why should so many of you...............

As for the cost, that is between the client and me but Ex-Maxx did the math so the rest of you can figure it out

Dazz, check my website

Pinhead, human curiosity is one thing, next time you see some young kid rolling in a bling bling machine see if you got the ***** to ask him if he is a drug dealer and how he paid for it.......

SUX, the icing is not from KMS, it doesn't sand near as good, icing is just a nickname that a bodyman I know uses for it cause it comes in a tube and squirts out just like a icing maching.

I just got back from SEMA and I was talking to lots of people about the way the aftermarket and the electronics world are merging into one and we all agreed that the legit side of this industry is really been fueled lately by all these shows on TV like Rides, Overhaulin, AC, AH, Monster Garage. Jared from Rad Rides by Troy summed it all up, for years put their money and investments into houses, art and furniture but now they are putting it into vehicles. The prices that some of these custom and or older cars go for is almost scarey..................at Boomers we had 65 Chevelle, all numbers matching big block go for $36,000 US.................US.......well you might think that isn't bad but it was a column/bench car...............

I think you will not see the custom side of car audio die down for sometime................

How many of you see 50-60 guys in their new SUV's at the local tire store picking up their 22's, 24's................hell in LA on the weekend there was a guy in at least his 70's driving a brand new escalade on 26's......................he wasn't slinging no rock...............just a cain maybe............

I'm confused When I said 'entirely plausible' I meant that it was an entirely reasonable (or feasible, believable, etc) situation. Yes, we had a discussion like this in the past but a different car. Doesn't matter though. You said what the deal was, and that's that.

I knew of a shop that ended up doing work for....well, no need for sugar-coating...criminals. No, it wasn't one that you've worked for either. Drug dealers, hitmen, that kind of thing and they weren't over 30. So it's not like I just pick this out of the sky or anything. The cars were definitely hot and the systems were a cost-no-object kinda thing. To a degree, it is your business of what kind of customer you are dealing with because you don't need the cops showing up at your store asking for information, or seizing the car, or the dude getting tossed in the slammer before paying his bill, or somebody that doesn't like him doing some damage to the car late one night while it's still in your shop. But you also can't turn away every big install that comes along due to suspicion either.

Anyway, enough yabbering from me about this. I did want to clarify the 'plausible' comment, because it wasn't meant to be negative.
