Look for an older Panasonic commercial projector, they take quite the beating (all that I had the pleasure to abuse anyways) and didn't loose alignment or break a filament. Look for one with a high lumens rating if you plan to use it in daylight - around 2500 or better. I recommend the PT-L720U or PT-L797PWU (dual bulb), these can be found on ebay for under $500, just expect to pay $250-400 per bulb. The 2000ish hour rating on the bulb is for best picture, when I was working with these everyday we were getting around 10,000hours out of the bulb before the filament was so far out of shape the image couldn't be focussed.
