Lets see if i got this right
 

Here is my amp specs

2-channel "Punch" Amplifier.
Output Power (4 ohms) 65.5W x 2.
Output Power (2 ohms) 125W x 2.
Output Power Bridged(4 ohms) 250W x 1.

So in order to get the output power of 125w x2 I would:

Parallel the 2 front speakers which are (4 ohms) and connect to 1 channel and
Parallel the 2 rear speakers which are (4 ohms) and connect to the other channel

or just parallel the 2 channels together to get the desired 125w x 2?
Is this meant to support just 1 speaker per channel or is 2 ok, though i know it will work the amp twice as hard

Im new to car audio and excited to learn and set up my first real setup and any help is greatly appreciated.


Would this be a good set up for (4)100 watt rms infinity references?
I also have a 300 watt 2 channel pioneer amp.Should i run my sub off this, or swap for the rf punch?
I was originally planning on running 2 infinnity kappas in the rear instead of the references, but because they are 2 ohms i was not sure if this was the most efficent method for the amps i already have.

Bad idea to wire according to option#1, your music is stereo, you just made it mono.

Use the cd players built in amp to drive the rear speakers, use the amp with the larger fuse to drive the sub, use the other amp to drive the front speakers. If you want to amplify the rear speakers, ideally I would look at a 4 channel amplifier to take care of both the front and rear speakers. This allows you full fading ability and balance. So you have full stereo separation in the front and rear. Just because the speakers say they are 100w rms does not mean you must give them that much power. They will run just fine with half of that.

Or what I did was connect the two left speakers to the left channel and two right speakers to the left. I never used the fader anyway
